The Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems turns 30 and in parallel the Max Planck Society has been active in the state of Saxony for 30 years. On this occasion, our institute organizes an alumni workshop. Together, we want to find out and reflect upon the progress which has been achieved through research by the institute's alumni over the years. Different generations of our alumni will have the opportunity to share their experience among each other and with current scientists in residence through plenary and parallel talks and ample time for discussions. One session will take place in the center of Dresden, open to the general public as part of Saxony's Max Planck Society celebration.
