We analyze the zero-temperature phase diagram of dipolar bosonic gases, by means of analytic estimates and large-scale quantum Monte-Carlo simulations. For a fully polarized sample, we show the existence of a quantum phase transition between a superfluid and a crystalline phase in two-dimensions, at a characteristic ratio of the interaction to kinetic energies. The feasibility of the experimental realization of these phases utilizing polar molecules is discussed.
