Quantum scattering states of photons in nonlinear optical fiber

First I am going to discuss a novel path integral technique to study dynamics in spin systems. Then I will use it for the problem of photons propagating in one-dimensional wavegiude and interacting with localized atoms. One of the interesting effect in this system is formation of a bound states of photons. In some cases the problem can be solved by the Bethe ansatz and compared to the derivation based on the path integral.
