Far-infrared, magneto-spectroscopy studies of bulk graphite and multilayer graphene on C-terminated surface of silicon carbide will be reviewed. Attention will be focused on optical transitions between Landau levels of Dirac fermions. Single particle schemes versus many body approaches to describe optical response of these particular electronic states will be considered. Finally, the high energy, low magnetic field and high temperature limits for observing Landau quantisation in graphene will be discussed.
