Linear positive magnetoresistance and quantum interference in magnetic metals

We report an overlooked magnetotransport property of ordinary ferromagnetic metals: positive, linear and isotropic magnetoresistance, not saturating up to fields of at least 60 T. The effect might be related to yet another puzzling phenomenon: strongly enhanced quantum electron - electron interference, which in thin ferromagnetic films appears to be by two orders of magnitude stronger than in previously studied disordered non-magnetic metals.
