This is a presentation of the means imployed (and progress thereof) to control dipolar-coupled nuclear spins in the solid-state, using their magnetic resonance, for the purpose of Quantum Information Processing. The recent experimental implementation of Heat-bath Algorithmic Cooling on single-crystal Malonic acid is used in this presentation as an example to demonstrate these tools, and their effectiveness.
