| The dynamics in optical lattices can be described by the Bose Hubbard model which is solvable for small occupation of each site. In the case of two modes the Bose Hubbard model can be easily solved even in the regime of high occupation. In this talk we will discuss our recent experimental findings on two and few well systems revealing the corresponding physics beyond the meanfield description. |
