I will discuss here a different type of nonlinear dynamics that does not covered by the Landau-Zener model. Since in the meantime it will use the Landau-Zener model (which is the topic of my workshop talk) as a standard reference to be compared with in order to contrast the differences, this topic seems to be quite appropriate.
This discussion together with my workshop talk and the poster of my student Ruzan Sokhoyan (devoted to the Demkov-Kunike model that incorporates the two regimes) adds completeness to the general topic of the nonlinear dynamics described by few-state quantum models. A discussion of the dynamics beyond the LZ model is presented in A.M. Ishkhanyan, B. Joulakian and K.-A. Suominen, "Two strong nonlinearity regimes in cold molecule formation", European Physical Journal D 48, 397 (2008). |
