| We will review recent accomplishments in non-linear XUV processes utilizing attosecond pulse trains. Towards extension of these studies to isolated attosecond pulses, results on the generation of intense broad coherent continua exploiting polarization gating of high peak power many cycle pulses will be presented and future prospects will be discussed. |
